Instructions

  4. Deglaze the pot with the white wine, then add the sprigs of parsley, allspice berries, bay leaf, and crushed tomatoes.
  5. Finally, sprinkle the sugar over the top and add a small amount of water.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Cover the pot and simmer over low heat until the beef is tender and the sauce has thickened, about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
